Dr. Mike Peck has career spanning experiences in the classroom and in leadership has been on the cutting edge of innovation in education. As a classroom educator he leveraged blended learning in order to increase engagement, provided flexible learning opportunities, and allow for students to problem solve and think critically.  As a technology and instructional leader, Mike has overseen the development, implementation, and operations of the Pen Argyl Area School District’s online program that services learners K-12. In addition to overseeing the district’s online program, Mike has been responsible for developing and providing professional learning opportunities and technology integration for the district.

Beyond his work at Pen Argyl, Mike has pursued a variety of activities to continue his personal and professional development. His research interests include his recently completed doctoral research on leaders who serve in the learner-centered paradigm, and is further expanding this work through the i4TL blog series on innovative school practices. Mike is currently serve on the board for i4TL Center for Research and Innovation an organization dedicated to accelerating change across K-12 learning communities. Mike has spoken at several conferences on topics such as professional learning, entrepreneurship in education, and problem based learning.
